Katie Kerr – Solicitor

Katie studied law at Aberdeen University, graduating in 1994 and completing her Diploma in Legal Practice a year later. She joined Mitchells Roberton in 2023.

Katie is a valued member of our private client team specialising in Wills including those with complex trust provisions, Powers of Attorney, administering estates and trusts and advising on inheritance tax. Her friendly and approachable manner helps put clients at ease at emotional times of their lives. Katie recognises everyone’s circumstances are different and is dedicated to finding solutions to suit individual client’s needs. In a previous life, Katie was a pensions lawyer but she is glad she made the switch back to private client.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys hill-walking, pilates, skiing, reading and catching-up with friends and family.
